Mattei-Ferraris students protest school reorganization in Caserta

Students from the Mattei-Ferraris school in Caserta held a protest in Piazza Padre Pio to voice concerns regarding the reorganization of their institution into three separate locations. The new structure distributes approximately 800 students across the Puccianello site, the Ferraris in Centurano, and the former Saint-Gobain area.

Protesters highlighted several critical issues, including transportation difficulties, the lack of essential services, and inadequate facilities. Specific concerns were raised regarding the absence of gymnasiums at both the Puccianello and Centurano sites, as well as potential difficulties in maintaining laboratory activities for dental technician students. Students also reported challenges with transit connections when returning from the Saint-Gobain site.
