Mattel Brick Shop announces Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R building set

Mattel Brick Shop has announced its first collaboration with Nissan, featuring a 1:16 scale building set of the 1971 Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R. Unveiled at the Paris Motor Show, the 833-piece set recreates the legendary vehicle, often referred to by enthusiasts as the ‘Hakosuka’.

The model is designed in a classic white racing livery with red stripes and includes features such as working steering, an opening hood with a detailed engine, and a metal nameplate. To allow for customization, the set includes various parts like a front splitter, headlight covers, and two sets of hubcaps, one of which is made of metal.

As part of the release, the box includes an exclusive 1:64 scale die-cast Hot Wheels model of the car. The building set is intended for ages 10 and up, with a retail price of 54.99 euros and an expected availability starting in January 2027.
