Matteo Fiorini honored at funeral service in Murata

A large number of people gathered at the church in Murata to pay their final respects to Matteo Fiorini, a prominent institutional figure in San Marino. The ceremony was attended by family, friends, colleagues, and various state institutions.

Fiorini served the nation in several high-level capacities, including three terms as a counselor, Secretary of State for Territory and Environment, and twice as Captain Regent. During the service, Don Mirco Cesarini, the general vicar of the diocese, praised Fiorini’s exceptional character and rare lucidity. State officials, including Secretaries of State Matteo Ciacci and Teodoro Lonfernini, also attended to honor his legacy of loyalty and friendship.
