Matteo Graziani returns to Verodol CBD Pielle Livorno basketball team

Livorno-born guard/forward Matteo Graziani, 193 cm and 95 kg, has re‑joined Verodol CBD Pielle Livorno for the upcoming season. The 2000‑born player grew up in the Don Bosco youth system, debuted in senior basketball in the 2018/19 Serie A2 season with Assigeco Piacenza, and later played for Eurobasket Roma, Derthona, and Chieti.

Graziani previously spent part of the 2022 season in Serie B with Pielle Livorno, delivering notable performances against Legnano and Gema Montecatini and helping the team win a derby before 8,000 spectators. He then returned to Serie A2 with Benedetto XIV Cento and later with Consultinvest Loreto Pesaro, where he averaged 9.7 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game. President Francesco Farneti praised the homecoming, calling Graziani a “graditissimo ritorno” and expressing confidence in his contribution on and off the court.
