Matteo Sorbellini appeals sanctions over Forte dei Marmi event

Fashion designer Matteo Sorbellini is appealing sanctions imposed by local police following an event held at Caffè Morin in Forte dei Marmi for his brand, Vip Room. Authorities contested the event on the grounds of unauthorized clothing sales, citing a lack of required certification (SCIA) and the use of unauthorized advertising materials.

Sorbellini has denied that the event involved sales, stating that his lawyers are filing an appeal. He clarified that the gathering was an exclusive presentation of a new collection consisting of 29 unique pieces intended for a selected group of invited clients.

During the event, Sorbellini also discussed his recently published book, ‘À Bientôt’, and announced plans to open a new niche Vip Room boutique in Forte dei Marmi to cater to an exclusive clientele.
