Matthew Lloyd warns of Geelong's ruck depth concerns

Lloyd suggested that while Mitch Edwards has performed well in his debut season as the team's primary ruckman, he may lack the experience required to compete against elite opponents in September.

Lloyd highlighted the strength of the league's top ruckmen, including Max Gawn, Brodie Grundy, and Luke Jackson, noting that Geelong's recent struggles with clearances against North Melbourne underscore this vulnerability. During that match, veteran Mark Blicavs had to move into the ruck to help stabilize the contest after Geelong trailed by 39 points.
