Matthew McConaughey discusses parenting and career legacy

Actor Matthew McConaughey recently discussed his career, philosophy, and family life ahead of receiving Variety’s Legend & Groundbreaker Award at Filmland in Arkansas.

In an interview with Variety, McConaughey shared insights into his parenting approach with his wife, Camila Alves McConaughey. He stated that they aim to guide their children toward activities they both love and are ‘inherently gifted to do.’ He also reflected on the concept of immortality through children, noting how much of a parent they carry forward.

Regarding his professional life, McConaughey touched upon his roles as a professor at the University of Texas and his work with the Just Keep Livin’ Foundation. He also discussed his recent filming in Italy for the Netflix project ‘Positano,’ a caper film set along the Amalfi Coast starring Zoe Saldaña.
