Matthew McConaughey selects Istrian pasta for his last meal

Actor Matthew McConaughey has named a specific dish from Istria, Croatia, as one of the items he would choose for his ‘last meal’. The selection was made during his appearance on the ‘Last Meals’ series by the YouTube channel Mythical Kitchen.

The dish in question is tonnarelli with Gambero Rosso shrimp, coffee cream, and brown butter, served at the Meneghetti restaurant in Bala. McConaughey previously visited the restaurant with his wife, Camila Alves, where he experienced the tasting menu.

The actor noted the memorable nature of the combination, which pairs fresh shrimp with an aromatic coffee cream and brown butter finish. Following his visit years ago, he had reportedly expressed intentions to recommend the meal to his Hollywood colleagues.
