Matthew Prince property dispute in Park City sees lawsuits dismissed
A judge has dismissed two lawsuits challenging the construction of an 11,000-square-foot mansion belonging to Cloudflare CEO Matthew Prince in Park City, Utah. The ruling marks a new development in a long-standing dispute between Prince and his neighbors, Eric Hermann and Susan Fredston-Hermann.
The conflict originated from disagreements over the size, height, and design of the residence overlooking historic Old Town. The feud escalated in 2024 when Prince filed a lawsuit against the Hermanns, alleging that their two Bernese Mountain dogs, Sasha and Mocha, frequently roamed unleashed, defecated on his property, and acted aggressively toward his family members.
The Hermanns denied these allegations, maintaining that the dogs were well-behaved. The dispute gained local notoriety, with some community members supporting the neighbors through “Save Sasha and Mocha” campaigns.
