Matthias Jaissle appointed Newcastle United manager

German coach Matthias Jaissle has been confirmed as the new manager of Premier League side Newcastle United, signing a contract that runs until 2030. He leaves his previous role at Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli, with Newcastle paying an €11 million compensation fee to secure his services.

Jaissle replaces Eddie Howe, who resigned abruptly after five years in charge despite having a contract and guiding the team back to the league’s top positions and Champions League participation. The club aims to maintain its status among England’s leading teams under Jaissle’s leadership.
