Matthias Jaissle prepares for Newcastle United debut against Liverpool

Newcastle United manager Matthias Jaissle is preparing for his Premier League debut this Sunday against Liverpool at St James’ Park. Jaissle has faced a difficult transition period, having had less than three weeks to work with the squad following the departure of Eddie Howe. The managerial change was complicated by delays in reaching an agreement with Jaissle and a squad undergoing significant turnover.

Despite the departure of key players such as Anthony Gordon, Sandro Tonali, and Bruno Guimaraes, Jaissle stated that the club does not feel external pressure regarding the transfer market. New signing Amar Dedic, a right-back who previously played under Jaissle at Red Bull Salzburg, is expected to make his debut on Sunday due to Tino Livramento’s fitness issues.
