Matthias Killing to co-host The Voice of Germany

Matthias Killing is set to take on a new role as a co-host for the 16th season of the music competition show ‘The Voice of Germany’. He will host the program alongside Melissa Khalaj, succeeding Thore Schölermann, who held the position for 14 years.

Killing, 46, is a well-known figure within the ProSiebenSat.1 media group, having been a member of the Sat.1 breakfast television team since 2009. In addition to his morning show duties, he has established a significant career as a sports moderator and reporter covering various disciplines including football, basketball, and tennis.

The upcoming season of ‘The Voice of Germany’ will feature returning coaches Shirin David, Rea Garvey, Nico Santos, and members of the Fantastischen Vier, Michi Beck and Smudo.
