Matthias Reim shares Instagram photo of daughter Romy for her 18th birthday

German pop‑schlager singer Matthias Reim posted a rare Instagram picture of himself with his daughter Romy to mark her 18th birthday. In the photo Romy wraps her arm around her father and both smile at the camera. Reim added a heartfelt caption wishing his daughter love and noting she will always be his "sweet little daughter" despite reaching adulthood.

Romy, who has largely stayed out of the public eye, is the child of Reim’s third marriage to Sarah Stanek (2004‑2013). The singer, 68, is father to seven children from various relationships, several of whom are also active in music. Reim announced that his new studio album "Flashback" with 15 tracks is scheduled for release on 18 September, alongside a single titled "Willkommen in meiner Zukunft".
