Matthieu Udol to launch youth football center in Marly

RC Lens defender Matthieu Udol is launching a new football training initiative called the ‘Centre de Matthieu Udol’ in Marly, Moselle. The project marks a return to the community where the player began his football journey before joining the FC Metz academy.

The inaugural five-day camp is scheduled to take place from October 19 to 23, 2026. It is designed for 50 young players in the U10 to U13 age categories. Led by camp director Bertrand Antoine and six educators, the program aims to combine tactical football training with workshops on nutrition, social media usage, and image management.

Udol, who joined RC Lens in the summer of 2025 and is under contract until 2028, expressed that the initiative is a way to pass on his experience to the next generation.
