Mattia Felici undergoes knee surgery in Rome
Cagliari forward Mattia Felici has successfully undergone surgery to reconstruct the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his knee. The procedure took place at the Villa Stuart clinic in Rome.
Felici, born in 2001, suffered the injury during a match against Lecce after a collision that forced him to leave the pitch. Following the operation, the player shared an update with fans on social media, stating, “Intervention finished. From today the descent begins, strength and courage.”
The surgery marks the start of a long rehabilitation and athletic recovery process. Cagliari will monitor his progress to ensure he returns to full physical condition without rushing the recovery timeline.
