Italian 3x3 basketball tournaments launch in Savona, Villa San Giovanni and other towns
The first edition of the "Trincee Back On The Map" basketball tournament was held on 1 August in Savona at the Via delle Trincee court. It was organised by ASD I Dominix De Sann together with Libertà and the municipality of Savona to promote sport inclusion.
In Villa San Giovanni, Peppy Costantino headed the inaugural Seilabeach Sport 3×3 event, attracting players of all ages and nationalities, including a Canadian participant.
Freaks 3×3 from Senigallia secured qualification for the national 3×3 Classic finals in Riccione after finishing fourth in the Italian ranking, becoming the sole team representing the Marche region.
The "Ex Star Game" 3vs3 tournament took place in Brindisi on 27 July, organised by Ora Tocca a Noi APS and ASD Robur Brindisi; Team Hospitale won the final.
Osimo hosted the Headless 3×3 street‑basket tournament from 30 July to 2 August, drawing a record 260 athletes from 65 teams and granting qualification to the national finals in Roseto degli Abruzzi.
