Mattishall residents oppose new housing development plans

Residents in the Norfolk village of Mattishall have voiced strong opposition to a proposal by RAE Aircraft Services to construct two four-bedroom homes west of Rayners Way. The development follows a previous application that was refused by Breckland Council and subsequently dismissed on appeal.

Local objections center on highway safety and access, with residents warning that limited parking and a blind bend near the proposed entrance could lead to accidents. While the new plans position the homes outside of identified flood risk zones, villagers expressed concerns regarding drainage, ecological impact, and potential overlooking of existing properties.
