Matulji and Sveta Nedelja honor top primary school students
In Matulji, Croatia, a ceremony at the school‑sports hall recognized the "student of the generation" and other top pupils from the primary schools Dr. Andrija Mohorovičić and Drago Gervais. Nina Surina and Chiara Šušnjar received the generation awards, while dozens of students were honored for achievements in language, informatics, art and national projects.
A similar event was held in Sveta Nedelja, where the city council presented awards to the most successful pupils of the local elementary school. Among the honorees were Janko Momčilović, who won first place in a national English competition, and Ana Markoljević, who earned multiple medals in mathematics, language and physics contests, as well as a bronze at the Junior Balkan Mathematics Olympiad. The ceremonies highlighted the municipalities' commitment to supporting academic and extracurricular excellence among young learners.
