Maturín Municipal Council advances youth recognition ordinance

The Bolivariano Municipal Council of Maturín has moved the special ordinance ‘Orden José Félix Ribas’ to its second stage of discussion. The initiative aims to formally recognize the talent and contributions of local youth to Venezuelan society.

Councilman Yeferson Aguirre, vice president of the council, stated that the ordinance will cover various sectors, including athletes, artists, professionals, entrepreneurs, and those involved in solidarity actions, including youth excelling abroad. Once approved and published in the Municipal Official Gazette, recipients will be able to sign a special registry to document their recognition.
