Maud Oudeman signs three-year deal with Movistar Team

Dutch cyclist Maud Oudeman will join the Movistar Team starting in 2027, signing a three-year contract that runs through the end of the 2029 season. The 23-year-old climber will depart from Team Visma | Lease a Bike following the conclusion of the 2026 season.

Oudeman brings five years of WorldTour experience to the Spanish squad. She has established herself as a specialist in stage races and mountainous terrain, with notable 2026 results including an eighth-place overall finish at the Volta a Catalunya Femenina, tenth at the Vuelta a Burgos Féminas, and seventh at the Giro dell’Emilia.

Team manager Sebastián Unzué noted that the team was drawn to Oudeman’s combination of experience and her potential for further growth. Oudeman expressed her desire to join the team due to its attacking racing style and collective atmosphere.
