Maui hosts various community and seasonal events in October

Maui features a variety of community events and seasonal programs scheduled for October. The 99th Maui County Fair is returning to the War Memorial fairgrounds from October 1–4, featuring rides, local food, and a traditional parade. Additionally, the Kula Country Farms Pumpkin Patch opens on October 1 and will operate daily through the end of the month.

Culinary and musical highlights include the Hawaii Food and Wine Festival, with Maui-specific events beginning October 23, and various live music performances at local restaurants. The Maui Ocean Center is hosting several seasonal activities, including the Fins & Frights Halloween event on October 24 and educational programs such as Sea Tots and Fall Camp.

Community support initiatives are also underway, including the Maui Ocean Center’s participation in the Maui Food Bank’s Protein Power Challenge to collect food and monetary donations for local families.
