Maule Region achieves 100% participation in municipal management diagnosis

The Maule Region in Chile has achieved 100% participation in the 2026 National Diagnosis of Municipal Management Quality. All 30 municipalities within the region completed the assessment process, which is promoted by the Undersecretariat of Regional and Administrative Development (Subdere).

The diagnostic tool is designed to evaluate the management status of municipalities on a commune-by-commune basis. It aims to identify operational gaps and generate data to guide actions for strengthening and improving local governments. The process involved municipal teams, directors, and officials responding to self-applied questionnaires based on their professional experience in various departments.

Francoly Bravo, the regional head of Subdere Maule, noted that the full participation demonstrates a commitment to improving management and providing better services to citizens by identifying areas for improvement.
