Maule Region begins training for science and technology strategy

The Maule Region has launched a training cycle to strengthen the implementation of its Regional Science, Technology, Knowledge, and Innovation (CTCi) Strategy for 2026–2036. The initiative is part of a project funded by the Maule Regional Government through the National Fund for Regional Development (FNDR).

The program is designed for technical teams within the Regional Government and its associated agencies. It aims to provide methodological and operational tools to integrate science, technology, and innovation into public investment decisions, while improving institutional coordination to address regional challenges.

The training consists of five sessions covering topics such as regional ecosystem governance, technical evaluation of research, development, and innovation (R&D+i) projects, the design of calls for proposals, and impact monitoring mechanisms.
