Television personality Maura Higgins has been paired with professional dancer Mark Ballas for season 35 of Dancing with the Stars US, which premieres September 15 on Disney+. The duo, referred to as ‘Team Tink’, previously formed a friendship while competing on The Traitors US.

The casting has been accompanied by reports of tension regarding partner selection. Higgins reportedly expressed a desire to avoid partnering with Gleb Savchenko due to his public statements regarding women. Savchenko responded by stating he had not heard of Higgins and would not be affected by her opinions.

In a separate recent interview with Cosmopolitan, Higgins discussed her personal relationship habits, admitting that she frequently checks her partners' phones. She noted that she often attempts to observe passcodes to gain access to devices shortly after beginning a relationship.
