Mauricio Pinilla addresses legal disputes and media conflicts

Former footballer Mauricio Pinilla has addressed recent public disputes involving his personal life and professional reputation during an appearance on the program ‘Primer Plano’.

Regarding his relationship with his ex-wife, Gissella Gallardo, Pinilla stated that the two are currently communicating through lawyers. He described the situation as a difficult process but emphasized that his primary focus remains the well-being and connection with his children.

Pinilla also commented on a recent conflict with television personality Pamela Díaz. The dispute arose after Díaz criticized Pinilla and Luis Jiménez during the program ‘Mañana te cuento’. Pinilla expressed indignation at being called ‘fallado’ (a failure), citing his career in sports broadcasting and his achievements as a two-time América champion. While he stood by his previous sharp remarks toward Díaz, he noted that he finds her to be an intelligent television professional, though he suggested there is ‘another Pamela Díaz behind Pamela Díaz’.
