Mauricio Pinilla denies allegations of child neglect by Gissella Gallardo
Former Chilean footballer Mauricio Pinilla has publicly denied accusations made by his ex-partner, journalist Gissella Gallardo, regarding his parental responsibilities. During an appearance on the program Vértigo, Gallardo claimed that she is solely responsible for the emotional and financial support of their three children.
Gallardo stated that Pinilla has not provided financial assistance for several months and has not visited the children since he left their shared home in March at her request. She noted that she has relied on her family for support to cover essential costs such as food and medical care.
Pinilla responded to these claims via Instagram, describing them as a “gratuitous attack full of lies.” He asserted that his 24 years of dedication to his children cannot be undone by a six-month period and indicated that he would address the matter further in the future.
