Mauricio Umansky considers Los Angeles mayoral run

Mauricio Umansky, a real estate mogul and television personality, has announced that he is considering a run for mayor of Los Angeles. Speaking on the program ‘Live! With Kelly & Mark’, Umansky stated he would run as a registered independent.

Umansky identified several key priorities for a potential campaign, including addressing crime, managing homelessness, and working to bring business back to the city. He noted that if he decides to move forward, he would need to begin preparing both his personal life and his real estate firm, The Agency, for the upcoming race.

His potential candidacy follows previous political attempts by other reality television figures in the Los Angeles area, such as Spencer Pratt.
