Mauricio Umansky discusses separation from Kyle Richards

Mauricio Umansky has provided an update regarding his separation from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards. Despite announcing their separation in 2023 after nearly 30 years of marriage, the pair remains legally married and has not yet filed for divorce.

In an interview with E! Hot Goss, Umansky emphasized that he and Richards remain close friends. He described her as his best friend and the mother of his children, noting that they still love each other. Regarding their uncoupling, Umansky advised others facing similar situations to handle them with “elegance and dignity and have respect for each other.”

While the couple is not currently pursuing a reconciliation, Umansky stated they are taking things “day at a time.” The separation follows years of public scrutiny regarding their relationship, which was a central theme on their reality television series.
