Greek theatrical producer and musician Maurikios Mavrikiou has announced that he underwent a successful but difficult surgical procedure. In a personal social media update, Mavrikiou expressed gratitude to his medical team, specifically mentioning Dr. Ioannou and the staff at Ygeia Hospital.

While he did not disclose the specific nature of the surgery, he described the event as a turning point, stating that he has made the decision to “change my entire life.” He noted that he requires time to recover his strength and requested privacy as he is currently unable to respond to calls and messages. Mavrikiou also shared a message of love for his wife, Ilaeira Zissi, and their daughter, Ioanna Melodia.
