Mauritius envoy promotes tourism and trade in Islamabad

The High Commissioner of Mauritius to Pakistan, Munsoo Kurrimbaccus, held an interactive session with travel agents and business leaders in Islamabad to promote tourism and economic cooperation.

During the meeting, Kurrimbaccus highlighted Mauritius as a safe destination with minimal crime and emphasized that the nation's visa regime has been simplified to reduce processing times. He described Mauritius as a strategic gateway to Africa with significant opportunities in trade, investment, and hospitality.

To support these efforts, connectivity between Pakistan and Mauritius is being enhanced. The session also included briefings on Emirates Airlines' operations connecting the two regions and encouraged Pakistani entrepreneurs to pursue joint ventures and business-to-business linkages.
