Mauro Andrés Rodríguez to face trial for fatal Quequén traffic accident

Mauro Andrés Rodríguez is scheduled to face an oral and public trial on July 5, 2027, for aggravated involuntary manslaughter. The case stems from a traffic accident in Quequén that resulted in the death of 28-year-old Florencia Spada.

Prosecutor Guillermo Sabatini confirmed that the investigation has concluded and the case has been moved to the Correctional Court. One of the aggravating factors in the charge is that Rodríguez was driving without a valid license. Although Rodríguez was initially detained following the incident, he was later released pending trial after a successful appeal by his defense, a decision the prosecution opposed.
