Mauro Biglino claims biblical deities are extraterrestrial beings

Italian Bible researcher Mauro Biglino claims that the deities described in the Bible are actually extraterrestrial beings, a concept known as the “ancient astronaut theory.” Biglino argues that the Hebrew word “Elohim” is plural, suggesting multiple beings rather than a single deity. He asserts that biblical accounts, such as those in the Book of Ezekiel, describe advanced technology and non-human intelligence (NHI) rather than purely spiritual visions.

According to Biglino, factions within the Vatican are aware that the Hebrew Bible contains complexities that differ from traditional religious teachings. He suggests that if governments officially recognize advanced non-human intelligence, the Church may adapt its doctrines to frame these beings as creatures created by a single universal God. While mainstream scholars reject these interpretations, arguing that linguistic pluralities and visions are symbolic, Biglino maintains that his research is being monitored by theological circles within the Vatican.
