Mauro González signs with Luis Ángel Firpo in El Salvador

Argentine midfielder Mauro González, who last played for Rangers de Talca in Chile, has been signed by Salvadoran club Luis Ángel Firpo. The move follows his departure from Rangers after a car accident kept him sidelined for part of the season. González, who appeared in six matches for Rangers, will join Firpo for the second half of the campaign and the upcoming Central American Cup.

The signing gives González his first opportunity abroad, aiming to restart his career in the Primera División of El Salvador.
