Mauro González sues Rangers de Talca over unfair dismissal

Argentine midfielder Mauro González, formerly of Chilean second‑division side Rangers de Talca, has filed a lawsuit alleging unfair dismissal and violation of his rights.

The dispute stems from a car accident on the night of 20 March 2024 that left him with a leg injury and a medical leave. After his leave ended, Rangers announced his termination on 19 May, weeks before a match against Deportes Recoleta that ended 4‑2 to Recoleta. González now plays for Club Deportivo Luis Ángel Firpo in El Salvador’s top division.
