Mauro Icardi and La China Suárez face criticism over driving license dispute

The organization Madres del Dolor, in conjunction with the Association of Traffic Victims, has issued a formal statement condemning the conduct of Mauro Icardi and La China Suárez. The criticism follows a social media video released by the couple, which occurred after the Ministry of Transport of the Province of Buenos Aires issued a preventive suspension of Icardi’s driving license.

Viviam Perrone, founder of Madres del Dolor, stated that the couple’s decision to mock the Ministry’s decision rather than apologize constitutes a lack of respect toward families who have lost loved ones to traffic accidents. The organization emphasized the need for social awareness regarding road safety and criticized the public reaction on social media that dismissed the importance of the incident.

In response to the license suspension, Icardi claimed on social media that he holds a valid Italian license and questioned the Ministry’s motives. Media commentator Yanina Latorre also weighed in, criticizing both Icardi’s reaction and Suárez’s tendency to engage with online criticism, suggesting their public behavior negatively impacts their reputation.
