Mauro Icardi and other football stars remain without clubs

Several high-profile football stars remain without clubs following the closure of major European transfer windows. Among them is Argentine striker Mauro Icardi, who is currently a free agent after his tenure with Galatasaray.

While Lazio was reportedly interested in the 33-year-old, the club's manager, Gennaro Gattuso, indicated that the team has already finalized its attacking lineup. Gattuso acknowledged Icardi's talent, noting his career tally of 250 goals, but stated the club would respect its current tactical structure.

Additionally, Luciano Vietto recently rescinded his contract with San Lorenzo after only five months, leaving the club to seek replacement options in the attack.
