Mauro Icardi Linked to €7 Million Offer from Turkey's Amedspor and River Plate Interest

Turkish Super Lig newcomer Amedspor is reported to have approached free‑agent striker Mauro Icardi with a contract worth €7 million per year. The club’s Diyarbakır representative allegedly made the offer after Icardi’s contract with Galatasaray is set to expire at the end of June, but the player is said to have turned it down.

Meanwhile, Galatasaray continues its negotiations, proposing a €5 million annual salary with bonuses and a 1+1 year deal. Sources say the Turkish side’s offer fell short of Icardi’s expectations, and the Argentine forward is receiving interest from abroad. Argentina’s River Plate has reportedly submitted a formal offer, although Icardi has expressed a desire to move to Italy. Earlier reports placed Galatasaray’s wage band for Icardi at €4‑5 million per year.

The developments involve clubs from Turkey and Argentina and reflect the ongoing uncertainty over Icardi’s next destination after his stint at Galatasaray, where he scored 77 goals in 134 matches.
