Mauro Icardi linked to São Paulo amid club search

Argentine striker Mauro Icardi remains without a club following the conclusion of his contract with Galatasaray. As the transfer window approaches its close, rumors have emerged linking him to the Brazilian club São Paulo.

São Paulo is reportedly seeking an attacking reinforcement due to an injury sustained by captain Jonathan Calleri, which may sideline him for the Copa Sudamericana quarterfinals. While Icardi has been mentioned as a potential replacement, negotiations face significant economic hurdles.
