Mauro Icardi to join Serie A club Como

Argentine striker Mauro Icardi, 33, left Galatasaray after four successful seasons and entered free‑agency. Multiple clubs showed interest, but the most concrete offer comes from Italian Serie A side Como.

His agent Elio Pino confirmed that negotiations are proceeding, saying the player is reviewing several options and could decide "any moment". A contract with Como is expected to be signed shortly.
