Mauro Mendes receives support from artists in Mato Grosso

Senate candidate Mauro Mendes met with various artists, including dancers, choreographers, capoeiristas, and circus performers, in Cuiabá to discuss cultural and sports investments in Mato Grosso.

During the meeting, held at the home of the founder of Grupo Flor Ribeirinha, participants highlighted the impact of state government funding. In 2025, Mato Grosso allocated R$ 233 million to culture through 561 partnerships and R$ 113 million to sports via 359 partnerships.

Artistic director Avinner Silva and educator Jeanderson Miranda de Arruda praised the administration for its sensitivity toward cultural sectors, specifically noting increased opportunities for hip-hop movements and local creators.
