Maués receives R$ 1 million in new surgical equipment

The municipality of Maués has received over R$ 1 million in new medical equipment to strengthen its local hospital's surgical center. The investment, facilitated through a partnership with the Ministry of Health, includes six key pieces of equipment: a videolaparoscopy tower, an anesthesia cart, a multiparametric monitor, and an ultrasound machine.

Mayor Macelly Veras highlighted that the addition of videolaparoscopy technology will allow for more modern, less invasive surgical procedures, enabling patients to receive advanced care without leaving the municipality. The mayor credited the partnership and coordination of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, Governor Roberto Cidade, State Deputy Wilker Barreto, and Federal Deputy Fausto Jr. for securing the investment.
