Maverick Carter seeks to end $25,000 monthly child support payments

Businessman Maverick Carter is seeking to eliminate the $25,000 monthly child support payments he currently provides to his ex-partner, Crystal Streets. According to court documents, Carter argues that the payments should be reduced to zero because their 18-year-old daughter attends a full-time boarding school for which he pays costs directly. Carter also contends that because their daughter turned 18 in July, the court no longer holds jurisdiction over the custody aspects of the case.

Crystal Streets is contesting the reduction and is instead seeking to increase the monthly support to $35,000. She argues that Carter’s net worth exceeds $100 million and maintains that support should continue until their daughter graduates from school. Streets also disputes Carter’s claims regarding the amount of custodial time she spends with their daughter.
