The Mavili Theatre will host a new production of Henrik Ibsen’s ‘White Horses’ (Άσπρα Άλογα), directed by Nikoresti Chaniotakis. The premiere is scheduled for October 9, 2026.

Following a successful run in Crete, the production features Nikitas Tsakiroglou returning to the stage alongside protagonists Nikos Poursanidis and Andrianna Andreovits. The play explores themes of guilt, truth, power, and individual responsibility through the lens of the Rosmer family.

This production is a modern reading of Ibsen’s classic drama, focusing on how the past influences the present and the consequences of unfulfilled debts to oneself.
