Mavin Group donates 10,000 chickens to support livelihoods in Son La

Mavin Group has donated 10,000 Dekalb Brown egg-laying chickens and 2.5 tons of animal feed, valued at 200 million VND, to residents in Son La province, Vietnam. The initiative took place on August 25 in Chieng Khoong commune as part of a social welfare program organized by the Agriculture and Environment Newspaper in coordination with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Son La.

The donation specifically targets households in the Yen Son and Phieng Cam communes. Beyond providing immediate resources, the program aims to establish sustainable livelihoods. Mavin's technical team is providing guidance on livestock management, including coop preparation, equipment, care techniques, and vaccination schedules to ensure high survival rates and productivity.

By providing egg-laying breeds, the program intends to help local families improve their nutrition through egg production while generating additional income to eventually reinvest in further livestock farming.
