Mavrix advocates for human-verified data amid rising AI use in research

At the Quirk’s Event New York 2026, data acquisition company Mavrix highlighted the growing importance of verified human evidence in an era dominated by artificial intelligence. While AI can automate survey creation, coding, and analysis, Mavrix argued that the value of research is shifting toward proprietary signals and authentic human participation that technology cannot easily replicate.

During sessions held at the Javits Center, Mavrix and partners including Delineate, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), and Knit discussed the evolution of the research landscape. Mavrix introduced a ‘Human Evidence Chain’—comprising Reach, Qualify, Verify, Engage, and Defend—to ensure data can withstand scrutiny. The company emphasized that while AI provides extraordinary capabilities, it cannot compensate for poor-quality human data, noting that ‘better human evidence in means better intelligence out.’
