Mawhiba Gifted Classrooms enroll 11,000 students in Saudi Arabia
More than 11,000 students have enrolled in the ‘Mawhiba Gifted Classrooms’ program for the 2026/2027 academic year. Managed by the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba), the program operates across more than 240 schools in 23 different cities throughout Saudi Arabia.
In addition to the core program, over 5,200 students have joined the advanced version of the program, which focuses specifically on science and mathematics. This advanced track is conducted remotely via digital learning platforms and spans a 20-week period outside of regular school hours.
The initiative targets both public and private schools that meet specific criteria regarding infrastructure, teaching methods, and assessment techniques. The program utilizes highly qualified teachers to deliver additional curricula designed to enhance critical thinking, problem-solving, and creative abilities.
