Mawlai held to a scoreless draw by Nangkiew Irat in SPL 2026

Mawlai played to a 0-0 draw against Nangkiew Irat in the Shillong Premier League 2026, missing an opportunity to reclaim the top spot in the standings. This match marks the third goalless draw for Mawlai this season.

Despite remaining undefeated and conceding only one goal all season, Mawlai continues to struggle with offensive production, having scored fewer goals than any other team in the top five. The result leaves Mawlai in third place with 12 points from six games. Shillong Lajong currently leads the league with 14 points, followed by defending champions Langsning with 13 points.

Nangkiew Irat moved up to seventh place with 8 points after eight matches. During the event at SSA Stadium, a minute of silence was observed to honor the late Shandalang Talang, a former Shillong Sports Association Council Member.
