Comedian Max Angioni has announced his departure from the television program ‘Le Iene’ after three years of co-hosting alongside Veronica Gentili. During a live monologue on the September 24 broadcast, Angioni clarified that his exit is a personal choice and not a dismissal.

Angioni explained that he felt the need to leave his comfort zone to avoid professional stagnation, stating, “The truth is that I was doing too well here, and when someone is doing too well, they risk sitting down a little bit.” He expressed gratitude to the program's creator, Davide Parenti, and his co-host, Veronica Gentili, whom he embraced during the broadcast.

While rumors regarding his departure had circulated since mid-July, the comedian used the live segment to officially conclude his tenure, describing the move as a way to challenge himself professionally rather than a final goodbye.
