Max B discusses prison stint and fallout with Karen Civil

Harlem rapper Max B appeared on ‘The Jason Lee Show’ to discuss his life following an 18-year prison sentence. During the interview, he reflected on his musical legacy, his brotherhood with French Montana, and the support he received from artists such as Wiz Khalifa and Jadakiss while incarcerated.

Max B also addressed his fractured professional relationship with marketing strategist Karen Civil. He claimed that Civil was “chased out of” the BET Awards after attempting to take control of his performance production. Max B further detailed a history of hiring and firing Civil over two decades, alleging she has been involved in recent controversies including claims of hacking his social media accounts. Civil has since stated that her company, Always Civil, has completed its work and closed out its professional relationship with the artist.
