TNA Wrestling cuts ties with Max Caster after controversial Riyadh rap

TNA Wrestling has severed ties with professional wrestler Max Caster following his debut at the Bound for Glory pay-per-view in Tampa, Florida. The decision follows a controversial entrance rap in which Caster made insensitive references to recent deadly attacks at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Reports indicate that the remarks, which included the line, “I drop bombs. You don’t even have to fly to Riyadh,” were neither scripted nor approved by TNA officials. The attacks in Riyadh, attributed to Houthi forces, resulted in significant casualties, including at least 12 to 14 deaths and hundreds of injuries.

TNA issued a formal apology, stating, “Making light of violent attacks is wrong. This should never have made it into the show, and that responsibility is ours.” The promotion confirmed it has removed all footage of the segment from its social media channels and event replays.

In a subsequent video, Caster expressed that he understood the company’s need to protect its interests but noted that his intention was to provide entertainment rather than to offend. He stated he was accepting the consequences of the incident.
